Mala Making Workshop
Join me at Namaste Yoga for an experience that is creative, peaceful, and grounding.
Mala beads are traditional tools used in meditation and prayer, each bead representing a mantra, intention, or affirmation. In this class, you will learn how to make a mala and how to use the beads in your meditation practice on Sunday, October 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The price is $40/person or $35/per person if you bring a friend! Fee includes beading instruction, materials, and an introduction to meditation.
Shawn will supply wooden beads, gemstones, and other materials needed for everyone who attends to create one 108-bead mala. If you have a special bead or charm you would also like to include, feel free to bring that also!

Fall Yoga Day
Interoception is a felt sense of what’s going on throughout the body, it provides a connection between an individual’s feelings, the mind, and the body. Throughout this choice-based practice yogis will be asked to notice and feel what is happening within their body and modify each pose to their individual
needs. After the physical practice, yogis will have a chance to create a body map of their experience
with art or journaling. The class is appropriate for all levels and will be a trauma-sensitive class.
